My daughter (5) has drawn a picture of the elements that are important to her that relate to the River Nene, which include green space, the swans and ducks, boats and she recognises that the Cathedral is close to where we visit the River. We are attracted to 'water' to soothe the soul!
Taking my children along the river to visit the ducks. We were both relaxed and having fun. Enjoying the moments. Making memories. We met some friends who lets us have a go on their skateboard and met a stranger who shared bread (for the ducks) and chocolate.
The embankment, Peterborough, is our favourite location because it is a beautiful part of our city, a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. It also reminds me of my teenage years - a great spot to meet friends.
