I remember canoeing from Orton Staunch to Wansford and back as a teenager and swimming in the river at Wansford during the hot summer of 1976
My favourite part of the river is the stretch between Nassington and Wansford as this is my local stretch and also from Oundle to Wadenhoe which is so picturesque.
