In May 2019, Nenescape visited 1st Irchester Cubs and Scouts to share with them the story of the River Nene and discuss different ways in which we can all help our local environment and waterways. Everyone made a paper boat, wrote a wish for the River Nene on it and decorated it.
Some cubs and scouts chose to take their boats with them, and others donated them to the 900 Voices archive. Here are the results!
